Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sladox.com and the Slad service operated by Mask of Janus LLC ("Slad", "we", "us"). By using sladox.com or our services, you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

Mask of Janus LLC is a Georgia limited liability company. We operate Slad, software for independent practices. Contact: yann@maskofjanus.com.

The revenue-leak audit service

When you submit the form on sladox.com requesting a revenue-leak audit of your venue, we will scan publicly available information about your venue (your website, Instagram profile, Google Business Profile, customer reviews) and produce a personalized audit summary identifying potential revenue gaps and the recommended actions to close them.

The audit is provided for informational purposes only. Numerical estimates in the audit (e.g., monthly revenue at risk) are based on industry baselines and the data we can extract from public sources; actual results vary by venue and we do not guarantee specific revenue outcomes.

SMS messaging

If you provide your phone number when requesting an audit, you consent to receive a single SMS message containing the audit summary, a link to a sample marketing video rendered for your venue, and a link to schedule a follow-up consultation. We send at most one SMS per audit request. Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier plan.

Reply STOP to opt out of any further messaging from us. Reply HELP for help. STOP is auto-honored. We do not send marketing blasts.

Bookings and scheduling

Slad provides practices with a booking page, scheduling tools, and an optional Slad mailbox for practice email. When a patient books through a practice's page, the appointment is an arrangement between the patient and that practice; the practice sets its own availability, services, and cancellation policies, and is the healthcare provider solely responsible for any care, clinical records, and medical decisions. Slad provides the software that creates, delivers, and records the appointment, notifies the practice, and (where connected) writes it to the practice's records system. Slad is not a healthcare provider, is not a party to the appointment, and does not provide medical advice or guarantee any outcome.

Third-party listings and platforms. To help patients find and book the practice, the practice authorizes Slad to publish, display, and surface the practice's business information, availability, and appointment, booking, and scheduling links on Slad's own properties and on third-party platforms, directories, search engines, maps, and AI assistants (for example, Google, including Reserve with Google and the Google Actions Center), and to create, manage, and update those listings and links on the practice's behalf. The practice represents that it is authorized to offer these services and may withdraw this authorization at any time by contacting Slad or closing its account.

Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Slad is sold as a monthly subscription. Plan prices are shown before you subscribe and are charged to the payment method you provide, through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. Where a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.

You may cancel at any time from your Slad dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund partial months except where the law requires it.

Some features are metered, for example generated images and video, SMS messages, and phone minutes. Where a plan includes an allowance, use beyond that allowance may require an add-on or a higher plan. We will tell you before charging anything beyond your plan price.

We may change plan prices. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies to your subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

Deleting your account

You can delete your Slad account yourself at any time, from the Account panel on your dashboard in the Slad app or at getslad.com/app. Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately, revokes the connections between Slad and your Google, point of sale, social and telephony accounts, and removes your venue, storefront and queued content. Your sign-in stops working straight away.

A backup is retained for 30 days in case the deletion was a mistake, then permanently erased. Records we must keep by law, including records of orders already placed by your customers, are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) submit phone numbers you do not own or are not authorized to use; (b) submit information for venues you do not own or operate, except for legitimate market research; (c) abuse the form to overload our infrastructure; (d) use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Slad Intelligence and how you may use it

What it is. "Slad Intelligence" means any non-public or proprietary data, information, analysis, recommendation, ranking, score, match, enrichment, research, insight, relationship mapping, opportunity identification, contact information, prospect information, partner information, or other knowledge generated, compiled, inferred, organized, or surfaced by Slad through the service. It includes the businesses and people Slad identifies for you, their company and contact details, decision-maker information, why Slad judged them a fit, the scores and rankings behind that judgment, the signals and inferred needs it drew on, the outreach angles it suggests, the research summaries it writes, and the lists and groupings it builds.

What is yours and what is ours. You own the business information you give us, your own customer and contact lists, and your communications and the relationships you build through them. We own the platform and the proprietary intelligence, analysis, organization, scoring, recommendations and derived knowledge that Slad produces. You have a limited right to use that intelligence in your business, not a right to resell it. Where you have a separate signed agreement with us covering export of your own data on termination, that agreement continues to apply to your own data.

What you may do with it. Use Slad Intelligence for your own business activities and your permitted use of the service. Contact and engage the people and businesses Slad finds for you. Introducing a business you found through Slad to a client or a partner in the ordinary course of your own work is expected use, not a breach.

What you may not do with it. You may not sell, resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, disclose, commercialize, bulk export, or otherwise provide Slad Intelligence to any third party as a standalone or substantially similar product, dataset, lead list, intelligence service, prospecting service, or other commercial offering, without our prior written authorization. You also may not sell or share your account credentials, allow an unaffiliated third party to use your account as their own, scrape or systematically extract Slad Intelligence, clone the dataset or the functionality, or use the service to build a competing intelligence or prospecting product. If you want to use Slad to generate opportunities on behalf of your own clients, contact us and we will put you on an arrangement that covers it.

Remedies for misuse. Any unauthorized resale, redistribution, sublicensing, scraping, systematic extraction, credential sharing for third-party use, or commercial exploitation of Slad Intelligence is a material breach of these Terms. We may immediately suspend or restrict access, including API access, export, seats and integrations, where reasonably necessary to prevent ongoing misuse, and may terminate access for a confirmed material breach that is not cured. Fees for a period in which an account was suspended or terminated for your breach are not refunded. You will stop the prohibited use and, on request, delete or return unauthorized copies of Slad Intelligence and confirm in writing that you have done so. We may pursue any remedy available under applicable law, including actual damages and appropriate injunctive or equitable relief.

Unauthorized commercial exploitation. You may not retain revenue derived from the unauthorized sale, licensing, redistribution, or commercial provision of Slad Intelligence or of access to the service. We reserve the right to seek recovery of damages and other remedies available under applicable law arising from that exploitation.

Separately signed agreements. These Terms govern your use of the Slad platform. Where you and Mask of Janus LLC have signed a separate services agreement, that agreement governs its own subject matter, and nothing in these Terms amends it.

Intellectual property

All content on sladox.com (the audit methodology, the website copy, the renders, the brand) is owned by Mask of Janus LLC or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of the site without written permission.

If we produce a sample reel for your venue using your venue's hero photo, that sample reel is provided to you for your own use; you may share it freely on your own marketing channels.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee specific revenue lifts, ranking improvements, or other commercial outcomes. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mask of Janus LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the service after the update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
